Uneasy is the head that wears the crown.
The life and times of NBA star LeBron James are apparently no different. The King recently went on his Facebook page to bemoan all the struggle and sacrifices he endures in being LeBron James.
“Man it’s hard to go out and have a good time these days,” James wrote. “It’s cool though, it’s part of my life. Wouldn’t change anything just saying. Been in the spotlight since I was 15. Sometimes u just wanna STOP!! But I refuse cause I have a commitment to the youth to inspire them. That will keep me pushing forward and focused alone.”
Just last week reports surfaced that James was forced to tell people he was partying at a club with to put their phones away and just have a good time.
Still, many in cyberspace felt compelled to remind the 27-year-old two-time NBA champ just named in the top five of Forbes Magazine’s top-earning athletes list at nearly $60 million just how blessed he is.
“Inspire them to fold and leave if things aren’t going as they’d like? read one comment. “Basically be a quitter and try to buy rings by finding the next superstars to team up with. I can’t wait til he teams up with Kevin Durant.”
