Sting's return to the squared circle remains in question, but soon he will be coming to a screen near you.

3 Best WWE Matches So Far In 2015

The WWE has been working on a DVD set for Steve Borden and it is due out later this year.

According to WrestilngDVDNews, the WWE's release, Sting: Into the Light DVD and Blu-ray, will hit stores in Australia on Oct. 7 and will be available in the United States and Europe in October as well.

The set is going to chronicle Sting's career and includes his transition to the WWE and his appearances in Vince McMahon's company up to this point.

After many years of close calls, the former WCW and TNA icon burst on the scene in the WWE in November, shortly after signing a contract with the WWE after a pact seemed elusive between the two sides for years on end.

Sting appeared at Survivor Series and got involved in the Team Authority vs. Team Cena match on Nov. 23 in St. Louis.

After making his first appearances ever on RAW, "The Vigilante" faced Triple H -- who was kayfabe irate over Sting's involvement at Survivor Series -- in a clash at WrestleMania 31 on March 29 at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif.

Sting's first WWE match was memorable, but he came up on the losing end in a bout that saw outside interference from the original nWo (Hulk Hogan, Scott Hall and Kevin Nash) and D-Generation X (X-Pac, Road Dogg, Billy Gunn and eventually Shawn Michaels).

After making his name in WCW and becoming a Hall of Famer in TNA, Sting finally joined the WWE for one match. It's unclear if he'll be brought back to wrestle again, but he said shortly after WrestleMania 31 that he'd be open to it.

"I don't know," Sting said when Renee Young asked him about his future in the WWE in an exclusive interview in March. "I don't know what the future holds, but I do know this...I don't know. I don't know what the future holds, I really don't know. I don't know what opportunities the WWE might throw my way, but whatever they do throw my way, I'm gonna reach out and I'm gonna grab it. And if they don't throw anything my way, well that's just too bad. It's a crying shame as far as I'm concerned."

Though he may not return for another match, the WWE announced Sting as a future guest for Stone Cold Steve Austin's WWE Network podcast, but it's uncertain when that will be.

While his in-ring career is in flux, Sting's DVD will tell the amazing tale of his legendary career.
