WWE Hall of Famer Dusty Rhodes passed away last Thursday in what was an unfortunate shock to the wrestling world and now the 911 phone call from his wife after his initial fall has been released.

Rhodes, whose real name is Virgil Runnels Jr., fell down in his home last Wednesday and eventually passed away due to complications from the fall on Thursday, in what stunned everyone in the wrestling community.

TMZ.com has released the phone call that Rhodes' wife, Michelle Runnels, placed to paramedics upon discovering that her husband fell.

"I need help," Michelle says in the video. "My husband has fallen. He's very sick. I need help."

The operator wasn't completely accommodating and appeared rude throughout the call.

"They're coming as fast as they can," the person on the other line said. "Me talking to you is not stopping them."

Rhodes, who passed away at age 69, was a huge part of professional wrestling even up to his death as he played a huge hand in developing talent for the WWE.

The company honored Rhodes with a 10-bell salute prior to the Money in the Bank event this past Sunday at the Nationwide Arena in Columbus and they also played several tribute videos to him during this week's Monday Night RAW.

On the WWE Network, the company aired a one-hour tribute chronicling his life and career.

Rhodes, known as The American Dream, is survived by four children, two of which went on to become WWE Superstars, including Goldust and Cody "Stardust" Rhodes, real names Dustin Runnels and Cody Runnels.

Among his many accomplishments in the squared circle, Rhodes was a 10-time NWA Florida Heavyweight Champion, seven-time NWA Southern Heavyweight Champion and a three-time NWA World Heavyweight Champion.

Throughout his illustrious career, Rhodes worked for the NWA in the territory days, Jim Crockett Promotions, the WWE, World Championship Wrestling, Extreme Championship Wrestling, Total Nonstop Action Wrestling and other promotions.
