Keith Hernandez still is reaping the benefits of that "one magic loogie."

USA TODAY Sports' For the Win uncovered an interview that the former New York Mets first baseman and current Mets broadcast analyst conducted with NJ.com, in which Hernandez confirms he still receives royalties from appearing on three episodes of the 1990s hit sitcom, "Seinfeld."

The 1979 National League MVP and five-time all-star already has translated the success in his baseball career into a broadcast role, and now he has translated his acting career into a monthly bonus check

Every time they show it. I get around -- I'm going to say they show my episode a lot," Hernandez told NJ.com. "So I'm going to say I get a check every month. Nothing less than six weeks. They show it all the time. It's international and everything."

St. Louis Cardinals mascot also under fire for holding up "Police Lives Matter" sign

Hernandez had a 17-year MLB career with the St. Louis Cardinals (nine-plus seasons), the Mets (six-plus seasons) and the Cleveland Indians (one season). He won 11 Gold Gloves at first base.

His "Seinfeld" appearances earned him fans that transcended the baseball diamond.

"But all a lot of people want to talk about years and years later were those couple of Seinfeld episodes he was in," For the Win reported. "Hernandez starred in 'The Boyfriend: Part 1' and 'The Boyfriend: Part 2,' and came back for the series finale in 1998."

Alas, the windfall for Hernandez has not remained consistent in episode earning as the years have gone by.

"It used to be almost $1,000. It diminishes as the years go by. So it gives me around $3,000 per year. I'll take it. For doing nothing. So you can imagine what Jerry gets. The principal actors, what they get."

Not bad for doing a show about "nothing."
