Tonight at 8 p.m. ET, the WWE presents an exclusive Tough Enough competition special.
The special will be a one-hour show that chronicles the official tryouts of the 40 finalists for the WWE's reality competition program, which had its inaugural season in 2001 and has been an on-again, off-again endeavor for the company.
The field of 11,000 hopefuls dwindled down to 40 finalists and they all tested their will under the guidance of trainers Billy Gunn, Lita and Booker T. The finalists tested their physical abilities, mic skills and ring prowess before being cut down to 13 survivors.
The Tough Enough Competition Special can be live streamed for free here.
This show serves as a prelude to the actual Tough Enough reality show which will see 13 wishful competitors trying out to see who is tough enough to get a WWE contract.
Chris Jericho will be the host and he'll be joined by a panel of judges that includes WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan, WWE Superstar Daniel Bryan and WWE Diva Paige.
A different competitor is eliminated every week until one man and one woman are awarded the winners of the competition and receive a one-year $250,000 WWE contract.
Past winners of Tough Enough include Superstars Matt Cappotelli, Andy Leavine, Maven, John Morrison and Daniel Puder as well as Divas Jackie Gayda, Nidia and Linda Miles.
The 13 finalists for the show include Alexander Frekey, Amanda Saccomanno, Daria Berenato, Dianna Dahlgren, Gabi Castrovinci, Giorgia Piscina, Hank Avery Jr., Joshua Bredl, Mada Abdelhamid, Patrick Clark Jr., Sara Lee, Tanner Saraceno and Zamariah "ZZ" Loupe.
The WWE begins a competition tonight to see who will be Tough Enough.
