The Celtic Warrior outlasted six other Superstars to win the briefcase Sunday night at Money in the Bank live from the Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio. As a result, he now has a contract that guarantees him a championship shot anytime within the next year.

Sheamus defeated Roman Reigns, Randy Orton, Dolph Ziggler, Neville, Kofi Kingston and Kane in the Money in the Bank Ladder Match in what was his third appearance in this type of contest.

WWE Monday Night RAW Preview And Latest Rumors

Tom Philips caught up with Sheamus after Money in the Bank to get his thoughts on winning the briefcase and he also asked him how much Bray Wyatt factored into the win after the Eater of Worlds took out Reigns when he had the briefcase in his hands.

"What are you talking about? You think I wanna talk about Bray Wyatt? You think I wanna answer one of your insignificant questions? Sheamus asked. "This is my moment. I am Mr. Money in the Bank."

Sheamus went on to say that the contract means everything to him and he is looking to become WWE World Heavyweight Champion again after struggling to recapture the gold in recent years.

"The contract that's in here, merely determines my future," Sheamus said. "Do you know how long it's been since I have been WWE World Heavyweight Champion? Have you any idea how much I have suffered watching people pass me by, Superstars pass me by who are not even worthy of lacing my boots. This my friend, this is all that matters right now because as I said last Monday on RAW, I am just one Brogue Kick out of nowhere from becoming the next WWE World Heavyweight Champion again."

When the titles were split, Sheamus was a one-time World Heavyweight Champion and a two-time WWE Champion.

The WWE's Irish Superstar hasn't held either title since defeating Daniel Bryan for the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania XXVIII in 2012 and then dropping it to Big Show in October of that year.
