It's the most infamous "wardrobe malfunction" since Janet Jackson went on display during the halftime show of Super Bowl XXXVIII.

Larry Brown Sports was one of several online media outlets to report that an ABC cameraman got way too up close and personal with LeBron James during Game 4 of the NBA Finals on Thursday night.

Andrew Bogut says LeBron James "jumped into the cameraman," causing the gash on his head

Before the teams were to come out for the opening tip, the cameraman was recording the Cleveland Cavaliers huddle and caught James adjusting his shorts. As James was in the process, he also straightened out his underwear, giving the nationally televised audience a brief glimpse of his private parts.

Larry Brown Sports set its sights squarely on the cameraman in pointing fingers.

Shaq says he'd rather have Kobe in his prime than LeBron James

"People have often complained that TV networks have way too much access when broadcasting games," Larry Brown Sports reported. "Their camera operators are inside team huddles, their reporters interview coaches during games, and they even take footage inside locker rooms. And sometimes when they're too close to the action, stuff that shouldn't make it on TV does, like what happened before Game 4 of the NBA Finals."

It was a bad night for James and the ABC camera crew all around as James later crashed into another cameraman and suffered a head gash that required stitches after the game. That incident seemed to have an effect on the NBA's best player, whose 20 points on Thursday night were 21 below his series average.

The silver lining, if there is one for the Cavaliers, is that James' incident was unintentional, done at the right place but at the wrong time.

The same cannot be said for Jackson's faux pas, in which the debate goes on whether that malfunction was intentional.
