What They're Saying

Brazil head coach Rogerio Micale (via FIFA): "For us, it's mission accomplished. We were in a strong group with difficult games and we played very well. I believe that we have a chance to win this title, but Serbia are a team to watch. They have been impressive in this tournament as well as competitive and disciplined, but Portugal and Germany are also very strong teams. Tonight we enjoy, and tomorrow we think about the next game. Mistakes are not acceptable at this stage of the competition."

Uruguay head coach Fabian Coito (via FIFA): "The group worked out the way we thought it would. It looked like a tough draw and that's how it turned out on the pitch, with the seeded team going out of the competition altogether. It was a very difficult match for us [against Mali], and the fact that we were dependent on results elsewhere meant that our nerves were really jangling. We wanted to finish first, but we couldn't quite make it in the end. I think Mali are a very fine team and a draw was the right result."
