The Tampa Bay Lightning may have a 2-1 series lead over the Chicago Blackhawks in the Stanley Cup Final, but when it comes to a war of words, Chicago supporter CM Punk has the edge over Tampa Bay Lightning fan Hulk Hogan.

3 Potential Feuds For Bill Goldberg If He Returned To WWE

Hogan took to Twitter to gloat after the Lightning topped the Blackhawks 3-2 at the United Center in Chicago on Monday to take their first lead of the series. Hogan also seemed to hint at Punk walking out on the WWE.

Punk then responded aggressively via Twitter to the WWE Hall of Famer.

Jeff Jarrett Talks Possibility Of CM Punk Joining GFW

"You mispronounced the team captain's name and didn't even know the coaches name," Punk wrote. "You're a hack. Shut the f--k up or I'll wreck you @HulkHogan."

Punk, who attended Game 3 as he does most if not all home playoff games for the Blackhawks, then shared a video of himself donned in Blackhawks red and surrounded by fellow rowdy Chicago fans, who were screaming, "We Want The Cup!"

"Hey everybody, this is CM Punk and obviously I'm live and in living color here at the Madhouse on Madison in front of all of these Blackhawks fans," Punk says in the video. "And we want the Cup. Now normally, the less said about Hulk Hogan the better, but he spoke my name first. So I'd like to point out that the Tampa Bay organization as a whole should be embarrassed for hitching their trailer to such a piece of garbage that pronounced the captain's name wrong [Steven Stamkos] and then called coach Jon Cooper, Jon Connor. Ladies and gentlemen, we're in Chicago and we're real hockey fans and we want the Cup. Tampa Bay's going down."

The Blackhawks are in search of their third Stanley Cup in six years while the Lightning hope to win the trophy for just the second time in franchise history and for the first time since 2004.

Game 4 of this series emanates back at the United Center on Wednesday. One can only hope the war of words between former WWE Superstar-turned-UFC fighter Punk and one of wrestling's biggest legends in Hogan continues.
