If anyone were to have reason to spill the beans on Tom Brady's alleged participation in Deflategate, it would be a former teammate-turned arch-rival.

Former New England Patriots cornerback-turned Denver Bronco Aqib Talib fits that description, but he shed no insight as to the accusations against his former team's quarterback.

Ex-Pats QB Drew Bledsoe calls NFL probe of Tom Brady a "witch hunt"

Talib played with Brady in New England from November of 2012 through the 2013 season, but the defensive player insists he never heard anything about Brady's connection with deflated footballs.

Ah, no, man, I have no idea," Talib told 9news.com in Denver. "When I was there, Tom didn't go around telling people about his footballs and stuff like that. I don't know what happened. That's a New England problem. We've got enough problems to worry about in Denver."

Talib is wrong in one regard in that Deflategate still also remains a problem for NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell, who will preside over Brady's appeal of a four-game suspension for his involvement in the Patriots' under-inflated footballs that were discovered at halftime of the AFC Championship Game against the Indianapolis Colts.

Brady's appeal is set for June 23, and Goodell has said he wants to hear directly from Brady on the matter.

Fansided.com surmised that if Talib had any dirt on Brady, he would mention it.

"Talib has no reason to defend New England or Brady, so if he had some dirt on them, it stands to reason he would have come right out with it," Fansided.com stated. "Talib seems to have completely moved on from the situation, something that playing with Peyton Manning can do for you."

Talib's comments come on the heels of former Patriots quarterback Drew Bledsoe commenting that the NFL probe into Brady seemed to be a witch hunt.
