The aftermath of the hit-and-run that landed former UFC light heavyweight champion Jon “Bones” Jones in jail briefly has hit the internet, and it’s not pretty. Two cars can be seen smashed up badly, while cops are recorded going through Jones’ vehicle and slowly realizing who it belongs to.

Police officers searching Jones’ vehicle come upon drug testing papers and one says “Dude I wonder if this is that fighter’s car? Jon Jones.” The other officer responds, “I wouldn’t doubt it bro.” Inside the vehicle the officers found money, papers regarding his drug testing, and what appeared to be “True Honor” trunks, which tipped off the cops that it was a fighter’s car. There’s also a “s***load of condoms,” as noted by one of the searching officers.

Eventually they find more identification and decide the car does belong to Jones. One officer says “Well, he’s f***ed,” and the other responds “Yeah, he is.” Later in the video one says “He almost killed both these people.”

The accident left a pregnant woman with a broken arm, and cost Jones his title just weeks ahead of a scheduled defense vs. Anthony “Rumble” Johnson. Daniel Cormier, whom Jones beat in January, replaced him in the main event and wont the vacated title by submitting Johnson with a rear naked choke.

After Cormier won, he issued a message to Jones saying “Get your s**t together, I’m waiting for you.” He made no apologies for winning the title without beating Jones, however, placing the blame squarely on the ex-champ who can’t stay out of trouble.

"Jon Jones disqualified himself from competition. I didn’t, Anthony Johnson didn’t, Ryan Bader didn’t. None of us ever did. Jon Jones took himself out of the game — he checked out,” Cormier said.
