With the dust settling over the results of Elimination Chamber, it's time to turn some attention to Money in the Bank, which the WWE presents in just two short weeks.
Kurt Angle Says Lack Of WWE HOF Induction 'Not Going To Kill Me'
WWE Money in the Bank will mark the third special WWE event in the last six weeks when it emanates live from the Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio on June 14.
The show will be highlighted by WWE Superstars competing in a Ladder Match with a briefcase hanging high above the ring. The winner of the briefcase will have a guaranteed contract for a WWE World Heavyweight Championship shot within the next year at the time of their choosing.
WWE Elimination Chamber 2015 Results
As reigning champion Seth Rollins proved at WrestleMania 31, winning the briefcase is a golden opportunity.
The WWE has already revealed part of the card as Kevin Owens will battle John Cena in a rematch after the NXT Champion shockingly pinned the United States Champion at Elimination Chamber.
The company also announced that Roman Reigns, Randy Orton, Sheamus, Dolph Ziggler, Neville and Kofi Kingston are part of the Money in the Bank Ladder Match while more Superstars will be added.
With that in mind, here's our take on projecting the card.
Rollins defended his championship against Dean Ambrose at Elimination Chamber and it appeared as though The Lunatic Fringe won the gold, but the decision was reversed and The Architect was disqualified, therefore he kept his title despite the loss.
Ambrose then stole the belt and it seems as though these two are destined for a rematch at Money in the Bank, possibly in a Ladder Match of their own to determine the real WWE Champion.
Ryback also won the Intercontinental Championship at Elimination Chamber and since there was really no resolution to his feud with Bray Wyatt and the Eater of Worlds got a pinfall victory over The Big Guy at Payback, it would seem logical that he should be the No. 1 contender.
Over in the tag team division, The New Day retained the Tag Team Championships in the Elimination Chamber on Sunday and will likely have one team gunning for them heading into Money in the Bank. In this case, it seems as though one final match with Cesaro & Tyson Kidd is in order.
Over in the Divas Division, Paige never got her one-on-one Divas Championship match with Nikki Bella due to Naomi turning heel and the company writing her off of television. With Naomi absorbing the pinfall on Sunday night in the Triple Threat Match, it appears Paige is in line for a crack at the gold by herself.
The WWE also promised to add more Superstars to the MITB Ladder Match and with Mark Henry recently returning and The Big Show set to come back, it will likely be them. It's also possible that King Barrett takes one of their slots.
