The Cleveland Cavaliers survived injuries to some of their best players to reach the NBA Finals, and that was thanks in no small part to having LeBron James on the roster. Their reward for such a great playoff run is to face one of the best regular-season teams the league has ever seen, the Golden State Warriors, led by current MVP Stephen Curry.

Dwyane Wade Joining LeBron In Cleveland?

The series is being portrayed as Curry against James, which is not exactly accurate. Both teams will need their best players to play well in order to win, but there will be other matchups that also play a role in which side wins. Unfortunately for King James, the Dubs have a much better supporting cast, and according to TMZ, that is why many people think the Cavs cannot win.

Former sitcom star and Oakland native Mark Curry gave his opinion recently about the chances that James and the Cavaliers have against his beloved Warriors. In short, he is not scared of the two-time NBA champion, saying that Cleveland has no chance to win the series.

Kevin Love To Boston A Possibility?

Not only is he not scared of watching his team face King James, he even goes so far as to call out the world's best player, saying that Curry & Co. are going to smack the crown right off of him.

It will be interesting to see from a matchup standpoint, as Golden State may be the only team capable of slowing James down. Cleveland's offense thrives on having James use pick and rolls and other actions to set up the offense, but the Warriors have thrashed pick and rolls all season long by relentlessly switching thanks to their army of 6'-6" defenders that they trot out.

They may not be able to shut James down, but even slowing him should give them the edge they need to win the series.
