Tonight at 8:10 p.m. ET, the Chicago White Sox (21-25) and Houston Astros (30-18) open up a three-game weekend series live from Minute Maid Park in Houston.

Chicago continues an 11-game road trip and has won two of its last three contests while Houston embarks on a seven-game homestand and is trying to avoid a two-match skid.

The White Sox are coming in off of splitting a makeup doubleheader against the Orioles in Baltimore Thursday while the Astros dropped two of three to the O's during a Monday-Wednesday three-match set.

Carlos Rodon (1-0, 4.03 ERA) toes the rubber for Chicago while Houston counters with Lance McCullers and he is 1-0 with a 2.53 ERA thus far this season.

Rodon will be pitching on nine days rest while McCullers makes just the third outing of his MLB career and his second home start.

The White Sox have lost seven of their last 10 games and will play their fourth game in three days spanning three different cities and two countries after playing the Toronto Blue Jays, having a twin billing with the Orioles and now opening a three-game set with the Astros.
