Two clubs looking to return to form will do battle today in a friendly between Toronto FC and Manchester City. The match scheduled for 7 p.m. ET will be held at BMO Field in Toronto and can be live streamed here free. Additional TV coverage can be found on ESPN2.
What They're Saying
Toronto FC manager Greg Vanney (via MLS): "The flip side of that is sometimes, when guys are having fun, they stop defending because defending isn't always that fun. We don't want to do that against this group [on Wednesday]. While we're there to enjoy ourselves, and it's a little bit of dessert for the fans to see a great team like Manchester City, we have to try to get something out of the game. It's not just to go kick a ball."
Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini (via ESPN FC): "You don't know what will happen in the future. It's a league that is improving, that is growing every year. We have now an important link with New York City, you never know what happens. I have a great communication with them [the owners] and I don't have any doubts even in the worst part of the season. They always give me assurances. Not just because we have finished winning."
