Daniel "DC" Cormier defeated Anthony "Rumble" Johnson on May 23 in the main event of UFC 187 and won the vacant UFC light heavyweight title. In his immediate post-fight interview Cormier told Jon "Bones" Jones to "get your s**t together because I'm waiting for you." Jones defeated Cormier in January, and was stripped of his belt following outside-the-octagon issues with the law.

Ryan Bader, who was scheduled to fight Cormier before the UFC plucked him from that card and placed him in the UFC 187 main event, didn't take well to the Jones call-out while he was in the building.

"He has no respect for people," Bader said. "There's a common denominator here, and it's him. All these fights (with other fighters), it's him."

After the fight Bader was also on Twitter goading Cormier.

Bader and Cormier engaged in a verbal altercation during Cormier's post-fight press conference after Cormier commented on Jones, then spotted Bader and said "There's somebody else that needs his ass kicked, too. I think he's around here."

Bader explained that his anger just boiled over into the unscripted confrontation. "What was I supposed to do, just sit there and let him go after it because he just won the championship belt?" Bader told MMAjunkie Radio. "Hell no.

"Something kind of took over, and I just walked up there, because I didn't know what else to do," Bader said. "(I thought), I'm going to go up there and slap him. I'm sick of this whole disrespect that he's been showing me from the moment were supposed to fight."

Bader has won his last four fights, his most recent win being a unanimous decision over Phil Davis that contributed to his leaving the UFC.
