The Philadelphia Eagles have been one of the best offensive teams in the league since the arrival of Chip Kelly as the head coach, which comes as no surprise to most people. Kelly is considered an offensive guru, and he has a reputation for never taking his foot off of the gas pedal.

Race Driving Chip Kelly's Roster Decisions?

Some are wondering, in light of the new PAT rules, if Kelly is about to start flooding his opponents with two-point attempts after Philadelphia touchdowns. Many perceived Kelly as a guy that went for two often during his college days, but that simply was not the case, according to ESPN.

In reality, while Kelly loves to run an up-tempo attack, his play-calling style hardly mirrors the go-for-broke attitude that people think he has (going for it on fourth downs notwithstanding). Kelly simply overwhelms his opponents by creating mismatches and running plays that wear down defenses.

Peyton Manning Not Done After 2015?

And as for going for two, Kelly did it a total of 21 times over his final three seasons at Oregon. That may sound like a lot, but also consider that the Ducks scored 258 touchdowns across those three years.

In his two years at Philadelphia, Kelly has attempted eight two-point conversions, although all of them were in 2013.

Kelly loves to confuse opponents and catch them off guard. He will continue to try and find ways to do so in the upcoming season. But do not expect the Eagles to be ringing up points eight at a time just because the PAT rules have changed.
