The Detroit Tigers are off to a strong start this season, and they have one of the best records in the American League. The scary part for other teams may be that they have not even played their best baseball yet. They are still awaiting the season debut of star pitcher Justin Verlander, who has been rehabbing an arm injury all season.

The injury has not stopped the former Cy Young winner from enjoying himself, however. When Detroit visited St. Louis recently, Verlander took some time to hit the town with his girlfriend, superstar model Kate Upton. The two were spotted out at a bar, and they did not let the public setting stop them from making up for lost time.

Of course, there are no rules against making out in public, although many consider it a societal faux pas to engage in public displays of affection. Still, if a rich and famous athlete wants to make out at the bar with his rich and famous girlfriend, who is going to tell them to stop? Erin Andrews Mad When Other Couples Get Engaged? The other patrons certainly enjoyed getting to watch the couple go at it, and a few even met them.
