Tiger Woods knows he's going bald. So if his hairline is bringing attention to help his charity, he's all for it.

Whether it was the World Series of Poker stars, Mark Cuban or Woods' receding hairline, his charity poker tournament over the weekend raised more than $1 million for the Tiger Woods foundation, cardschat.com reported.

Charity poker tournament with Mark Cuban exposes Tiger Woods going bald

"From CBS Sports to the Daily Mail, the storyline being told around the world following the poker tournament was Wood's growing lack of hair.

While that editorial angle might not be the one Woods would have chosen himself, it has generated a huge amount of interest in the event and, therefore, the Tiger Woods Foundation."

The Daily Mail posted photos of a cap-less Woods at his event, reporting, "Troubled Tiger Woods let his hair down last night, giving a rare flash of his bald patch."

The British newspaper was referring to Woods' recent breakup with girlfriend Lindsey Vonn amid its report that he cheated on her and then admitted it to her during a therapy session.

But that news became secondary to Woods hair or lack thereof.

News of his hair loss also gained notoriety last summer.

"I'm comfortable with it," Woods told Fox Sports' Colleen Dominguez. "My hairline is not.

"I'm fighting for the cause, I'm fighting it hard ... it's a no win fight but I'm hanging in there."

During the poker tournament, one of the tables featured poker stars Phil Hellmuth, Daniel Negreanu and Mike Sexton along with Woods. According to cardschat.com, the golfer held his own for a few hours.

Hellmuth took out Woods in a head-to-head battle in which Woods went all in with a Jack-Five and lost to Hellmuth's Ace-King.

But it was time well-spent.

"Although the exact amount of money raised through the tournament and its auxiliary events, including a celebrity auction is unknown, it's expected the whole event raised well in excess of $1 million for Woods' charity."
