Russell Wilson is mad at somebody.

Amid the quarterback's increasingly contentious negotiations with the Seattle Seahawks over a contract extension is the report of angry tweets from Wilson that could be directed at the team's management.

Russell Wilson, Seattle Seahawks 10s of millions of dollars apart in contract talks?

Bleacher Report's Jason Cole is reporting that Wilson, who has led the Seahawks to two Super Bowl appearances in his three years as the starter - winning Super Bowl XLVIII - wants more than $20 million per season.

Seattle owes Wilson $1.542 million in 2015, the final year of his four-year rookie contract. Even if the Seahawks were forced to put the franchise tag on him in 2016 and 2017, the Seattle Times suggests that the franchise would invest just $50 million rather than the $60 million-plus Wilson seeks.

Seahawks general manager John Schneider won't comment on "sticky" negotiation process

The Seattle Times added that various reports have estimated the Seahawks offer to be for five years at about $80 million, or $16 million per season.

Apparently, the negotiations could have Wilson feeling unappreciated.

Profootballtalk.com reported that the angry tweets started occurring when the onus was put on him to sign a new deal.

"It's hard not to wonder whether this relates to Wilson's slowly ongoing negotiations with the Seahawks, especially since his first apparent subtweet came just after coach Pete Carroll told ESPN that the ball is in Wilson's court: 'I'd rather patiently wait & see what God has in store than do something that isn't best for my life,'" profootballtalk.com reported.

"Who else would Wilson be complaining about regarding 'lack of gratefulness & respect' at a time when his employer has yet to make Wilson a contractual offer he's willing to accept? More importantly, if Wilson isn't talking about the Seahawks at a time when he's negotiating a new contract with them, why would he post a general tweet without making it clear that he's not talking about the Seahawks?"

Profootballtalk.com added Wilson's tweets could be directed toward teammate Bruce Irwin. But when Wilson is in the middle of a tricky negotiation, he would be wise to clarify his tweets if they aren't related to Seahawks management.
