Tonight at 7:05 p.m. ET, the Los Angeles Angels (17-17) and Baltimore Orioles (15-17) open up a three-game set live from Camden Yards in Baltimore.

Los Angeles commences up a 10-game road trip and has won three consecutive contests while Baltimore continues a nine-game homestand with the second of three series' during that stretch and is in search of its second straight win.

The Angels enter play on the back of sweeping the Colorado Rockies in a brief two-game set while the Orioles took two of three from the Toronto Blue Jays to open their homestand.

Jered Weaver (1-4, 4.98 ERA) toes the rubber for Los Angeles while Baltimore counters with Wei-Yin Chen and he is 1-1 with a 2.52 ERA this season.

The Orioles took the season series with the Angels 4-2 last year and will look for a good start to the 2015 slate while L.A. hopes to reverse its fortunes.

Weaver comes in after collecting his first win of the season last time out by limiting the Astros to six hits and shutting them out while striking out six and not walking a batter.

Chen has pitched well despite only having one win and is coming off of an outing where he held the New York Yankees to just one run on five hits over seven innings. Chen has allowed three or fewer earned runs in his last six starts.

Angels outfielder Mike Trout is hitting .289 with nine homers and 19 RBI while he ranks tied for the American League lead with 27 runs scored. Closer Huston Street is tied for second in the AL with 11 saves.

Orioles' Jimmy Paredes rides a 12-game hitting streak into this game and is batting .346 since being activated from the disabled list. Center fielder Adam Jones is fifth in the AL with a .336 batting average.

This is a contest between two teams that won their respective divisions in 2014. Second-place Los Angeles is currently 4.5 games behind the Astros for first in the AL West while Baltimore is four games behind the Yankees and in dead last in the AL East.
