Renee Young and Dean Ambrose recently publicly revealed that they are dating and the backstage announcer sat down for an interview and discussed the "Lunatic Fringe's" scary moment at WrestleMania 31.

Projected WWE Elimination Chamber Card

Young, who was on the panel during WrestleMania 31 at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif. on March 29, spoke with James Delow in an exclusive interview about Ambrose getting hurt at the biggest show of the year.

Ambrose, whose real name is Jonathan Good, was involved in a seven-man Ladder Match for the Intercontinental Championship, a match that was won by Daniel Bryan and also included Bad News Barrett, R-Truth, Luke Harper, Dolph Ziggler and Stardust.

Ambrose was taken out of the bout after he was sent crashing through a ladder outside of the ring and appeared to hit his head on the ladder.

Young was relieved when Delow told her they wouldn't be discussing her private relationship in the public interview.

"Great, he's old news," Young joked about Ambrose. "Old hat. What a bore."

Delow did however, ask for her reaction to being at WrestleMania after watching her boyfriend get sent crashing through a ladder in a very dangerous spot.

"That was horrible," Young said. "Not even just pertaining to Dean, John. With anyone, we all travel together. We all know each other very well. So anytime you see someone you know [and] they get injured, it's a stressful situation. I mean of course when it's him, there's a little more on the line for me for that. But, I was hosting the WrestleMania pre-show and I was up -- way up in the rafters -- super far away also wearing high heels, which I don't much care for, but I had a little bit of time in between knowing when I had to be back up there for a hit during WrestleMania, so I had to boot scoot and boogie my way down to go try and find him. But, it's in like the belly of Levi's Stadium. It's huge. I walked around about 18 times before I was like, 'Oh there's the doctor's room.'"

After she discovered that everything was fine, Young said there was a sense of comfort.

"There was relief," Young said. "He's a very tough guy, so I don't put too much past him, but somebody's gotta check up. You can be tough, but sometimes someone's gotta go, 'Are you ok?' And he was fine and then I left."

Ambrose will now set his sights on the WWE World Heavyweight Championship when he battles title-holder Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns and Randy Orton in a Fatal 4 Way Match this Sunday night at Payback.
