Preakness Stakes 2015 Posts and Odds: American Pahroah Draws Post 1, Dortmund Draws Post 2

The full draw for the 2015 Preakness Stakes posts was held on Wednesday. Odds-on favorite American Pharoah (4-5) drew post No. 1, while second-choice Firing Line drew post No. 8.

"I don't like the inside," Baffert said after the draw on Wednesday afternoon (via Forbes). "I never like the one-hole. Sometimes they don't break as well. When I was watching the draw and all these numbers were coming up, I go, 'This is not looking good.' I'm just glad I didn't draw that for the Derby."

The real intrigue for trainer Bob Baffert is post No. 2. Breaking right next to his Derby winner will be his stablemate Dortmund.

"I can't believe I drew the 1-2 of all draws," Baffert added. "I don't love it, but they'll be easy to watch."

Dortmund, however, is not Pharoah's stiffest competition. Firing Line remains Baffert's biggest threat.

"[Firing Line] was tough to get by, so he's going to be tough again," Baffert said (via USA Today). "There's a lot of quality there, a lot of class. He's a really good horse."
