Former WWE hopeful "The Future" Donovan Ruddick, whose real name is Brian McGhee, has been arrested in Tampa Bay for the stabbing death of 25-year-old Bianca McGaughey, who is believed to have been his girlfriend.

McGaughey was stabbed at about 8:30 p.m. yesterday, according to authorites. Soon after, McGhee, 29, changed his Facebook profile picture to an image of a cut and bloody arm.

Detectives believe McGhee was parked in the apartment complex where McGaughey lived, and attacked her when she walked toward him. Her body was found on the sidewalk, with McGhee already gone.

According to reports he fled the scene in a Pontiac Grand Prix and police put out an alert for his car. Once the former wrestler was spotted, he led the officers on a high speed chase that ended when he crashed his vehicle into a guardrail near Interstate 75 and County Road 41. He was brought down by a police dog and taken to a hospital; once he's able to leave the hospital he will be charged with first-degree murder, reports The Tampa Bay Tribune.

As a performer he wrestled under the names "The Future" Donovan Ruddick, and D.T. Porter. The Tribune reports Pro Wrestling Magazine ranked McGhee No. 476 out of the top 500 active singles wrestlers in 2009. He was eventually signed by the FCW, but released from his contract in 2012. McGhee was listed at six feet, nine inches and 275 lb. Authorities noted that he had two tattoos, one reading "Fat Fat," and the other reading "Brianna," with a cross.

He began his wrestling career in 2006; prior to that he was an assistant manager at a St. Louis pawn shop. He also was in the United States Navy from 2002 to 2005 according to his Facebook profile.
