Jameis Winston has filed a countersuit against FSU student Erica Kinsman in response to the young woman's own civil suit alleging the former Heisman Trophy winner sexually assaulted her back in December 2012.

Winston's defense team has already thwarted Kinsman's accusations in a police investigation and a Florida State student conduct hearing, but this will be their toughest challenge from Kinsman yet.

Vice Sports Report: Harrowing New Details In Winston Rape Accusation

Vice Sports has already reported that Kinsman is planning on using posts from social media surrounding the time of the alleged rape in her argument, and now Pro Football Talk claims Winston's lawyers are planning to do the same.

Kinsman fired off a series of tweets in the aftermath of the incident that are decidedly positive and favorable toward FSU (for whom Winston would've been quarterbacking at the time), such as “Pitt is the perfect example of why I would never want to go to school in the north. #everyonesugly #FSUvsPITT” and “Interception, f–k you Pitt.” Sparse, but perhaps effective in the right lawyer's hands.

"It’s believed that Kinsman will argue that she went to Florida State games as part of her therapy for the alleged rape," PFT's Mike Florio writes. "Which means that Winston’s lawyers will be looking for the therapist who believed it would be helpful to Kinsman to attend games featuring her alleged rapist, and to cheer for him."
