Could CM Punk's first UFC fight come against the Green Power Ranger?

WWE SmackDown Spoilers For Thursday

Punk has had a high-profile beef with former Power Rangers actor Jason David Frank and it escalated recently with JDF telling Punk he still wants to fight him.

Punk, who first addressed the awkward situation in a light-hearted manner a few years back and then told TMZ that he didn't really know JDF that well other than the fact that he was the green ranger, once again found himself talking about him.

Randy Orton vs. Brock Lesnar Happening At SummerSlam?

The former WWE Champion discussed JDF at a C2E2 panel and blasted him.

"It's such a double-edged sword answering this question because this is a guy that is constantly tripping at me on social media, but refuses to put my Twitter name in things so I would never see them anyway," Punk said. "I get what he's doing, it'd be like right now if I went after [the Green Arrow] Casey Jones and was like, I should beat Casey Jones right? ...It's like shut the f--k up. He's not gonna stop. I get it, I've had stalkers before. We just gave him six more months of relevancy."

JDF swiftly responded with a video of his own, in a rant that lasted over three minutes.

"Yo CM, this is a response to your video at C2E2, all right?" JDF said. "First of all, I've done several shows with you man. You're the one that started this. You're the one that went into the panel making fun of Power Rangers and agreeing and saying, 'Yeah, I guess I'd fight him. What color Ranger is he again? Hahaha.' I've done two shows with you, we talked. You lied about your jiu-jitsu first of all. Second of all, and then you go to TMZ and you laugh it off like you don't know who I am. Okay? And this is what bothers me, you go in there and you laugh it off like, 'No, never heard of a Power Ranger. No, no. Don't know why the Green Ranger' -- then you say Green Ranger -- if you don't know who I am dude, say you don't know who I am."

The rant continued with him adding that it's not "stalking," it's the "fight world," but JDF concluded that he still wants a fight with the "Best in the World."

"Welcome to UFC, I got more experience then you buddy," JDF said. "There's no reason why you should say no. So that's it. That's the message. CM Punk, I still wanna fight. You're an all right dude, but until we see eye-to-eye. I'm gonna keep challenging you until you talk to me. Yeah, it's morphing time buddy, it's morphing time!"

Punk walked out on the WWE in January 2014 and officially received his termination papers from the company last June before signing with UFC in December.

"The Best in the World" has been training at Roufusport in Milwaukee and his debut will take place sometime in late 2015.

JDF, it would appear, would love to be Punk's first test in the Octagon.
