Tonight at 7:10 p.m. ET, the Atlanta Braves (14-17) and Cincinnati Reds (15-16) take the field at Great American Ball Park for the opening contest of their three-game set.

Atlanta continues a nine-game road trip and looks to snap a three-match losing streak while Cincinnati returns home for the start of a seven-game road trip trying to halt a two-match skid.

Shelby Miller (4-1, 1.66 ERA) takes the ball for the Braves while the Reds counter with Mike Leake, who is 2-1 with a 2.47 ERA thus far this season.

Miller is coming in off of a three-hit shutout against the Philadelphia Phillies in his last outing and hasn't allowed more than three runs in any start while his lone loss came against Leake and Cincinnati. Miller is tied for second in the NL in ERA.

Leake has won in two straight appearances and hasn't allowed a run in 16 innings. Leake hit a homer off of Miller last time they met, but Atlanta took the series 2-1. The right-hander is second in the NL with a 0.87 WHIP.

The Braves were swept by the Washington Nationals over the weekend and come in on the heels of a 5-4 loss on Sunday. First baseman Freddie Freeman had two hits and two runs in the defeat.

Freeman is tied for the MLB lead with 14 doubles while he ranks tied for third in the National League with 39 hits and in sole possession of fourth with 68 total bases. On the pitching side, Jason Grilli is tied for third in the NL with nine saves.

The Reds lost two of three games to the Chicago White Sox after the first meeting of the series was postponed. Cincinnati dropped Sunday's decision 4-3 in walk-off fashion. Shortstop Zack Cozart had three hits and two RBI in the loss.

Reds outfielder Billy Hamilton leads the MLB with 16 stolen bases while third baseman Todd Frazier is second in the NL with 10 homers.

Cincinnati enters the game in third place in the NL Central, seven games behind the first place St. Louis Cardinals while the Braves are in fourth in the NL East, six games behind the division-leading New York Mets.
