The Cleveland Cavaliers took playoff hype way too far with this one. In a new, tone-deaf ad to show how passionate Cavs fans are, a male fan in a Cavaliers shirt tosses a female Chicago Bulls fan to the floor-hard. Don't believe us? See for yourself.

In the ad two nice-looking people are having some fun with the song Time Of My Life when the young woman removes her apron and reveals a Bulls shirt. Mid-air, the Cavaliers fan chucks her across the room causing a loud thud. He deadpans "Bulls fan? I didn't know you were a Bulls fan."

Not in great taste, considering the current sports landscape and the mountains of negative press received by boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr. ahead of his super fight vs. Manny Pacquiao. Ray Rice still can't land an NFL job.

Since running the advertisement, which ended in the couple sitting together while the woman had an ice pack on her head, the Cavaliers have issued an apology.

"Domestic violence is a very serious matter and has no place in a parody video that plays in an entertainment venue," the Cavs said in a statement. "We sincerely apologize to those who have been affected by domestic violence for the obvious feelings caused by being exposed to this insensitive video."

Still might be better than...
