Tonight at 7 p.m. ET, the Montreal Canadiens and Tampa Bay Lightning face-off for Game 4 of their Eastern Conference Round 2 best-of-seven Stanley Cup playoff series live from the Amalie Arena in Tampa Bay.

Montreal looks to defeat their opponents for the first time this season and to avoid a four-game sweep while Tampa Bay hopes to put the series away on home ice.

The Lightning have topped the Canadiens in all three previous playoff games this series and are 8-0-0 against them overall. The team picked up a 2-1 overtime win in Game 1, a 6-2 victory in Game 2 and then followed it up with a stunning 2-1 triumph in Game 3 on Wednesday.

With Game 3 seeming as though it was headed to overtime, Tyler Johnson scored a goal with less than two seconds left in regulation to lift Tampa Bay to a 2-1 victory and 3-0 series lead.

Alex Killorn also scored for the Bolts in the game while the Habs lone goal-scorer was Brendan Gallagher. Montreal has just four goals through the first three games of this series and is 1-for-28 on the power play.

The Lightning realizes that even though it has a commanding lead, there's still work to be done.

"It's a race to four, and we just got the third," coach Jon Cooper said per NHL.com. "We were kind of in a situation like this in Game 4 in Detroit and a game we weren't our best and we pulled out in the end. It was a different way of pulling out but we still pulled one out and I don't think teams that go through the grind of the playoffs paints the Picasso every time they play."

The Canadiens are in a deep hole, but they have little time to regroup with Game 4 just 24 hours after Game 3.

"The good thing is we don't have much time to think about it, so we've got to come back ready to keep our season alive [Thursday]," P.K. Subban told NHL.com.

Subban has led the Canadiens with five points off of a goal and four assists while Max Pacioretty had a team-best three tallies and has added four points in the postseason.

Johnson's Game 3 tally gave him an NHL playoffs-best eight and he leads the Lightning with 11 points. Nikita Kucherov (3-4--7), Killorn (3--4--7) and Steven Stamkos (1-6--7) all have seven points in the postseason.

In between the pipes, Ben Bishop is 7-3 for Tampa Bay this spring with a 1.65 goals-against average and a .937 save percentage.

Montreal counters with Vezina and Hart Trophy finalist Carey Price, who is looking for his first win against Tampa Bay this season. Price is 4-5 with a 2.30 GAA and a .920 save percentage this postseason.

The Canadiens try to avoid elimination while the Lightning hopes to close it out when the puck drops on Game 4 live tonight from the Amalie Arena in Tampa Bay.
