The pending rape investigation against Ray McDonald now could also bring serious trouble to former San Francisco 49ers teammate Ahmad Brooks.

TMZ Sports is reporting that the woman who claimed that McDonald raped her in December now is accusing Brooks of groping her when she was unconscious at McDonald's home.

According to documents obtained by TMZ Sports, the woman said she was at McDonald's house on Dec. 14 when she slipped and fell on the deck by his swimming pool. She said she was knocked unconscious for eight minutes.

The woman said surveillance video is available that shows Brooks "groped her person in a sexual manner."

She also maintains that McDonald then carried her to his bedroom and had sex with her without her consent. According to TMZ, the San Jose Police Department investigated the allegations but dropped the case due to insufficient evidence.

USA TODAY Sports, however, reports that prosecutors in Santa Clara County still are contemplating whether to bring charges against McDonald.

The woman filed a cross-complaint earlier this week naming both Brooks and McDonald in Santa Clara County Superior Court after McDonald sued the woman for defamation in March.

The 49ers released McDonald within hours of police confirmation that he was a suspect in the case. According to SFGate.com, the team "cited a 'pattern of poor decision-making' in releasing McDonald, who wasn't charged after he was arrested for felony domestic violence in August."

McDonald has since signed with the Chicago Bears.

SFGate.com added that Brooks also has had a history of accusations of violence.

"In 2013, Brooks wasn't charged after he allegedly hit then-teammate Lamar Divens in the head three times with a beer bottle, an incident that prompted an investigation by the Santa Clara district attorney's office. In 2008, when he was playing for the Bengals, Brooks was accused of punching a woman in the face and accepted mediation on the charges. Brooks was dismissed from the team at Virginia after the 2005 season for unspecified reasons."

The 49ers said they were aware of the accusation against Brooks and were "disappointed to learn of this matter and will continue to monitor the situation."
