The Clippers likely gained valuable confidence by hanging nearly 120 points on the Rockets in Game 1 without All-Star point guard Chris Paul, which they'll probably need tonight. According to reports, Paul is unlikely to play tonight while he battles a strained hamstring.

In his stead, Blake Griffin continued his postseason dominance, notching a triple-double with 26 points, 14 rebounds and 13 assists. "He's incredible," Clippers swingman Matt Barnes said. "He gets in the middle of the field and kind of just picks people apart like Tom Brady."

While Paul essentially won Los Angeles Game 7 vs. the Spurs, Griffin has been the team's motor this postseason. He is averaging 24.4 points and 13.3 rebounds while battling top big men like Tim Duncan and Dwight Howard. Now he, and the rest of the Clippers, are mentally meeting their physical capabilities.

"I've always felt we've had the talent," Clippers guard J.J. Redick said. "That mental toughness has been questioned and our resolve has been questioned and at times rightfully so, but we're on the right track right now."
