Tonight at 7:10 p.m. ET, the Baltimore Orioles (12-11) and New York Mets (16-10) open up a two-game interleague series live from Citi Field in Queens.

Baltimore begins a six-game road trip through the Big Apple with two meetings with the Mets followed by a four-match set with the Yankees while New York continues a six-game homestand it is 1-3 on thus far.

The Orioles took two of three from the Rays in Tampa Bay this weekend where they played as the home team due to the aftermath of the riots in Baltimore while the Mets dropped three of four games to the Nationals, marking their third straight series loss.

Bud Norris (1-2, 12.18 ERA) takes the ball for Baltimore while New York counters with Bartolo Colon and he is 4-1 thus far this season with a 3.31 ERA. Colon is tied for third in the National League with four wins.

The Orioles defeated the Rays 4-2 on Sunday and will look for their third straight win. Adam Jones drove in two runs in the triumph.

Jones leads the American League with a .402 batting average and ranks tied for second in hits (35) and total bases (58) and third in on-base percentage (.438), slugging percentage (.667) and OPS (1.104). Jones leads the team with 21 RBI while he's tied with Chris Davis for the homer lead with five.

The Mets were blanked 1-0 by the Nationals on Sunday and will hope to bounce back this afternoon as they host the Orioles at Citi Field for the first time since 2012.

Mets right fielder Curtis Granderson is tied for fourth in the NL with 17 walks while closer Jeurys Familia is tied for the MLB lead with 10 saves.

New York enters play in first place in the NL East with a 3.5 lead over the Nationals while Baltimore is in third place in the AL East, 2.5 games behind the Yankees for first.
