After years of dancing around each other, Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao finally stepped into a boxing ring together on Saturday night. Many lamented that the fight was happening in 2015 instead of back in 2009 when both boxers were at their best, but the anticipation was still extraordinarily high.

Ticket prices were outrageous, and betting in Vegas was through the roof over what many dubbed the last great superfight in boxing history. Many fans question the future of the sport as concerns over health and other issues leave fewer and fewer superstar pugilists.

On the fateful night, Mayweather put on a clinic over the last half of the fight and won by unanimous decision. Pacquiao looked to have a chance early on, but Mayweather adjusted and eventually outpunched Pacquiao while also landing a significantly higher percentage of throws.

Despite the relative one-sidedness of the bout, Pacquiao's relatives are still claiming that he got jobbed, according to TMZ. His aunt, along with some other family members, say that the entire fight was rigged and even claim that people were paid off to make the Mayweather victory a reality.

They went on to talk some trash about Mayweather, which nearly anyone would expect.

There has been no evidence to support the claim that the fight was rigged in any way. Still, the sport has a long history of fight-rigging rumors being associated with bouts both large and small. Some things never change.
