What They're Saying

Gary Woodland: "If there's anyone that likes to front run, it's him [McIlroy]."

Rory McIlroy: "I think the confidence [for those must-make putts] has built from all the matches that I've played this week. Once I got up on the match, I just tried to up the intensity a little bit and take advantage of that. I feel like every time I get in these positions to win tournaments and close tournaments out and I do it, it adds to that ability to really knuckle down when I need to."

Jim Furyk (via ESPN): "I've played pretty well at times and got beat. It feels good. I wish I would have done it in Arizona. It would have been fun with Wildcat fans and all the support there. "I like the round robin format. I like it better than what we did before, just for the fact that you've got guys coming from all corners of the world."
