Mayweather and Pacquiao have shared five opponents in their illustrious careers: Oscar De La Hoya, Juan Manuel Marquez, Ricky Hatton, Shane Mosley, and Miguel Cotto. Both men have beaten all of them, however, Pacquiao was dropped in 2012 by Marquez in their fourth meeting.

Pacquiao knocked out Hatton, De La Hoya and Cotto, while Mayweather knocked out Hatton, and won by decision against Cotto and De La Hoya. Pacquiao and Mayweather both won clear decisions over Mosley, although Mosley flirted with a second-round knockdown after rocking Mayweather.

Mayweather dominated Marquez when they fought, although the matchup was criticized because of the big jump in weight Marquez was making, plus Mayweather purposely ignoring the catch weight and coming in even heavier.

Pacquiao knocked Marquez down three times in Round 1 of their first fight, but wound up with a draw. He won disputed decisions in bouts two and three, before getting knocked unconscious in their fourth meeting.

Prediction: Mayweather def. Pacquiao by unanimous decision.
