This may be the most First World Problem of all time.

PGA golf star Rory McIlroy is playing in the Match Play Championship this weekend in San Francisco. The quarterfinals this week will run until early in the evening, local time, on Saturday night.

No Tournament Hangover For Masters Champ

So what’s the problem? McIlroy is a professional golfer, and a great one at that, so surely he’ll still be kicking around the links at that time.

Well, the hitch is that the Ulsterman also has good seats for the Manny Pacquiao, Floyd Mayweather Fight of the Century. That boxing match is slated to start around the same time...but in Las Vegas, a 90 minute flight away.

McIlroy says he hopes that he’ll be able to pull off both in the same night, but he’ll need a lot of luck to break his way for that to happen.

"[The fight] never happened, so sort of waiting five years for this to happen," McIlroy said, via CBS Sports. "I always said if these two guys fought each other, I wouldn't miss the opportunity to go. Luckily, we're somewhere close, and hopefully I'm still part of this tournament at that time, but it just wasn't an opportunity that I was going to miss. Nothing that a few quick birdies won't change if I try and win 7 and 6."
