The Dallas Cowboys are still in the middle of negotiations with star wide receiver Dez Bryant, but they took a brief hiatus from that important matter to tend to another important matter - the NFL Draft. Near the end of the first round on Thursday night, Dallas selected cornerback Byron Jones out of Connecticut, a player they hope will help shore up the secondary.

Bryant was apparently watching the draft, or he at least was made aware of the selection, and he took the time to send out a message about the selection, although what he meant is up for interpretation.

While it is certainly not the most enthusiastic of congratulations, Bryant did at least take the time to acknowledge his new teammate, which is more than some players do.

Still, nothing is ever good enough for some people, and it wasn't long before somebody laid into Bryant about the tweet, calling it "corny." Bryant did not appreciate the input, and he proceeded to tear her down on his account.
