Poor form forced Tiger Woods out of the World Golf Championships-Cadillac Match Play at TPC Harding Park in San Francisco, but that didn't prevent him from making the headlines on Wednesday.

Taking to Twitter, the former world No. 1 announced his summer schedule, but made one glaring omission.

"See you at the U.S. Open, Open Champ, Memorial, Greenbrier and my Foundation's event, the Quicken Loans National. Going to be a busy summer," he tweeted.

No PGA Championship?

His agent, Mark Steinberg, quickly dismissed that notion. "He will obviously play more tournaments than that," Steinberg told USA Today.

To be fair, Twitter only allows for 140 characters per tweet. One cannot expect Woods to input a schedule covering the remainder of his life, but it remains a bit odd to exclude one of the four Major tournaments. Especially with Woods in pursuit of Jack Nicklaus' illusive record of 18 Major championships.

Leading up to Woods' busy summer is the Players Championship at TPC Sawgrass, a course Johnny Miller believes works to his detriment.

"I don't think he loves the course," Miller said (via SB Nation). "Be great if he could continue the confidence at the Masters and segue into the Players and the U.S. Open."

Brandel Chamblee wasn't as optimistic.

"You have to be able to flight the ball both directions [at TPC Sawgrass]," Chamblee said. "You have to be able to flight it low and high. You have to be able to sort of deal with whatever anxiety issues you have off of the tee.

"So you know, I don't think any of us anymore can predict with any sort of even close to validity what Tiger Woods is going to do," he added. "I'm just happy that he is choosing to play there. That's great. It'll certainly be wonderful to watch. But what he's going to do, you know, flip a coin."

The Players Championship will begin on May 7, with the final round being played on May 10.
