Kane compared WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins to a young Shawn Michaels and called him a "brat," but the Authority's big man doesn't plan on costing him the title anytime soon.

Kane sat down with Michael Cole for an interview and was asked whether or not he liked "The Architect" and while dodging the question at first, he eventually had some candid words for him.

"I think my personal feelings are irrelevant in this matter," Kane said. "There's an old saying in our business, 'If you want a friend get a dog,' because we're not here to like one another or to dislike one another. We're here to do business. ...I have stated on a number of occasions in a very public forum actually often in the middle of the ring on Monday Night RAW or SmackDown that I personally believe that Seth Rollins is a spoiled little entitled brat. In many ways, Seth Rollins reminds me of a young Shawn Michaels. A man brash and ready to take on the world and along the ways he's not afraid to ruffle a few feathers. And some of those feathers, yes, do belong to me, but nevertheless as I said, I have a job. I have a role to do. And that is to ensure that Seth Rollins remains the WWE Champion and remains the future of the WWE because that's what's best for business and that's what I intend to do."

WWE SmackDown Spoilers For Thursday Night

Cole brought up Monday Night RAW and Kane putting Rollins in a tough position by giving the WWE Universe the opportunity to pick his opponent at Payback on May 17 in Baltimore and giving the option of a Triple Threat Match with Randy Orton and Roman Reigns.

"I didn't really do anything, the WWE Universe picked the Triple Threat Match," Kane said. "All I did was give them some options. And I don't see how anyone can say that I did anything wrong because what could be better for business than giving the audience what they want? And that's what I did."

Kane was also asked about a vendetta he seems to have with Rollins.

"Why would you say that I have a personal vendetta against Seth Rollins when I put him on my team Monday night?" Kane said. "In the absence of Triple H and Stephanie McMahon, I am the administrative arm of The Authority. That means that sometimes I have to make decisions, snap decisions, which is what I did on Monday night. But I can assure you that Triple H and Stephanie McMahon have the utmost confidence in my ability to make those decisions."

Lastly, Kane said it's his job to make sure Rollins stays at the top of the WWE.

"I'm not trying to knock Seth Rollins down," Kane said. "Seth is young. He tends to be overzealous, sometimes over exuberant. All I'm trying to do is help him navigate the waters...To help him climb the ladder to mega stardom. That's my job. We all have a role in the WWE and in my case in The Authority. My job is to ensure that Seth Rollins fulfills his potential and I plan on doing that job to the best of my ability no matter what anyone else may say or thing about it."
