There are three guarantees in life: Death, taxes and trades in the first round of the NFL Draft. There's no reason the Miami Dolphins shouldn't be a part of the action come Thursday.

Dion Jordan Trade to Eagles Imminent?

With six picks at their disposal (No. 14, No. 47, No.114, No. 149, No. 150 and No. 191), below are three teams that Miami should target for a trade.

Ryan Tannehill Worthy of Long-Term Deal

Chicago Bears at No. 7

Having been spurned by Dion Jordan—who now faces a season-long suspension for providing a diluted sample—the likelihood of Miami mortgaging the future has decreased exponentially; however, with a talent like Kevin White, Todd Gurley or DeVante Parker still available, the temptation could be insurmountable for the front office.

Seattle Seahawks at No. 63

Dennis Hickey's proclamation laid the foundation for trades in Chicago. "We'd like to be able to massage the [draft] board to acquire more picks," Hickey said (via Sun Sentinel). "To get more chances at players."

That, however, doesn't limit Miami to Day 1. Dropping deeper in the second round will allow Miami to recover a coveted third-round pick and walk away with an additional impact player.

Dallas Cowboys at No. 27

According to the Sun Sentinel's Omar Kelly, sources confirm the realest trade partner for the Dolphins is Dallas at No. 27. This is, and should be, Miami's priority on Thursday. Dropping 13 picks in the first round will force the Cowboys to pay a king's ransom. An additional second-round and fourth-round pick will limit the damage of missing out on the third round.
