After taking two straight losses, the second of which being a 27-point shellacking, the Clippers tightened up and evened the series in Game 4 on San Antonio's court, one of the NBA's most difficult places to win.

Clippers point guard Chris Paul said the team used their Game 3 meltdown as fuel to execute better and not be outworked so soundly.

"We tried to come out aggressive, on both ends, offensively and defensively," Paul told the team's official website. "We've got to find a way to not let things like Game 3 happen for us, and respond like this. The great teams come out that way regardless, and hopefully we learned something."

Game 4 featured more substandard play from Spurs point guard Tony Parker, at least by his own lofty standards. He was aggressive, and made 7-of-15 shots from the field scoring 18 points, but he only registered one assist and played 28 minutes.

The points and aggressiveness were taken as optimism going forward that they will see Parker healthier as the series wears on though.

"He's starting to feel a lot better," forward Tim Duncan said. "It's great to see him going to the basket, make some plays for us. That will pay big dividends for us with the rest of the series, something else they will have to game plan for."
