"Pippen was found in the walkway next to the hotel," thegazette.com reported. She appeared to be intoxicated and smelled of alcohol, police said. Police said Pippen was wearing two bar wrist bands.

"Pippen refused to participate in field sobriety and breath tests and also accused the officer of being a racist, police said. She was arrested on charge of public intoxication and public urination."

Thesmokinggun.com added that the charges are both misdemeanors and she posted a $500 bond and was released at 10 a.m. on Sunday.

According to thegazette.com report, hotel staff told police they recognized Pippen, a University of Iowa student, from an earlier incident.

"On April 10, Pippen got into a fight with security at the hotel and was arrested after admitting to being drunk and submitting to a breath test that showed her blood alcohol content to be .141 percent," thegazette.com added.

Sierra Pippen is the second oldest of Scottie Pippen's six children, according to thesmokinggun.com. Scottie Pippen was a seven-time NBA All-Star and six-time NBA champion with the Chicago Bulls. Pippen, 49, was inducted into the NBA Hall of Fame in 2010.

Larry Brown Sports reported that he was involved in an incident in 2013 in which he was accused of putting another man in a hospital after an altercation outside a Malibu, Calif., restaurant. It cited a TMZ report stating the Pippen was not arrested over the incident because the man had harassed Pippen throughout the evening.
