Tonight at 7 p.m. ET the Tampa Bay Lightning and Detroit Red Wings face-off for Game 6 of their Eastern Conference Round 1 best-of-seven series as part of the Stanley Cup playoffs live from the Joe Louis Arena in Detroit.

Tampa Bay looks to win in order to force a Game 7 back on home ice while Detroit hopes to wrap things up at home and advance to Round 2 for the first time since 2013.

These teams alternated wins and losses in Games 1-4 and that trend continued with Game 5 as the Red Wings dropped the Lightning 4-0 at the Amalie Arena.

The Red Wings have the upper-hand, but they aren't going to let overconfidence get the better of them heading into Game 6.

"You try and be focused for every game," goalie Petr Mrazek said per NHL.com. "You want to finish it as soon as possible. We know the game starts from 0-0 [Monday] and we're going to go and play hard."

Mrazek, 23, is in his first Stanley Cup playoff series and he has been lights out for Detroit and he stopped all 28 shots he faced in Game 5 to pick up his second shutout of the postseason. Mrazek has allowed nine goals on 143 shots in the series.

Ben Bishop mans the blue paint for the Lightning and he has yielded 11 goals on 111 shots in this set.

The Lightning know they faces a tough task, but the team is willing to take on the challenge and Tampa Bay erased a 3-1 series deficit against the Pittsburgh Penguins in 2011. The team hopes to draw off that history.

"We were down 3-1 and had to go into [Pittsburgh] to take it to Game 6," defenseman Victor Hedman told the team website. "It's all about belief, and belief that you can do it. I'm not worried about this group at all. We know we can do it and that's kind of the mindset we touched on today."

Tyler Johnson has led the offensive rush for Tampa Bay, notching a team-best four goals and five points while Nikita Nesterov has three points off of a tally and two helpers. Steven Stamkos has two assists, but no goals yet in the series after finishing second in the NHL with 43 markers in the regular season.

Pavel Datsyuk paces Detroit with three goals this series while Luke Glendening and Riley Sheahan have each lit the lamp twice and added another helper for three points apiece.

The Lightning look to extend the series while the Red Wings hope to wrap things up when the puck drops on Game 6 live tonight from the Joe Louis Arena in Detroit as part of the Stanley Cup playoffs.
