DeMarco Murray has said and done all of the right things since he left the Dallas Cowboys in free agency and signed with the rival Philadelphia Eagles. He has been gracious and thankful, and he has worked hard to endear himself to his new teammates and a new fanbase.

DeMarco Murray 'Not Worried About Cowboys'

Earlier this week, he said that he is "not worried about the Cowboys," which is exactly what you expect to hear from a player after they change teams. But is that the wise view for Murray to take? He may not need to worry about them on the field yet, but they should be on his mind because of all of the changes in his NFL life.

For starters, he just went from arguably the league's best offensive line to one that struggled mightily with injuries and ineffectiveness last year. There are reports that the Eagles could draft a lineman with their first-round pick, and they could certainly use the help, as last year's line made LeSean McCoy - an acknowledged star back - look pedestrian on a regular basis.

That same offensive line should allow Dallas to replace the bulk of Murray's production with a cheaper player through the draft, as the boys up front will still be there to pave the way and open giant running lanes.

Health will also be an issue for Murray. Last year was the first time that he has stayed healthy for a full season, and he carried an enormous workload. The league's history is littered with players that led the league in rushing will toting the rock hundreds of times only to never be the same afterward.

Finally, the Cowboys had Tony Romo, whereas the Eagles have a quarterback situation in flux. They traded last year's starter for an injury-prone checkdown artist, and there are still rumors that they may trade up to draft Marcus Mariota. If the quarterback situation is less than stellar, Murray could find very little room to run against stacked fronts.

Maybe Murray doesn't need to worry about the Cowboys as opponents. But he should definitely be worried about the cushy gig he left compared to the one he will now call home.
