Tonight at 9:30 p.m. ET, the Nashville Predators and Chicago Blackhawks skate against each other in Game 4 of their Western Conference Round 1 best-of-seven series as part of the Stanley Cup playoffs live from the United Center in Chicago.

Nashville will look to even the series up before heading back home while Chicago hopes to use home ice to its favor and take a commanding 3-1 lead.

These teams have alternated victories in this set with the Blackhawks picking up a 4-3 double overtime win in Wednesday's Game 1 and the Predators bouncing back with a 6-2 triumph on Sunday in Game 2.

Chicago then took their second lead of the series with a 4-2 victory in Game 3 on Sunday.

The Blackhawks had four different goal-scorers in their Game 3 win, including Jonathan Toews (goal, assist), who picked up his second tally of the postseason.

The captain was joined in the goal column by Andrew Desjardins, Brandon Saad and Brent Seabrook, who each found the twine for the first time in the playoffs.

Saad and Seabrook scored back-to-back in the third to put the game away. Marian Hossa notched his third and fourth helper of the series on Sunday as well.

Mike Ribeiro and Mattias Ekholm each lit the lamp for the Predators in the loss while Craig Smith had two assists to give him a team-best three helpers and five points this postseason.

The Predators are looking to use their speed to get back in the series while they'll be without defenseman and captain Shea Weber (lower-body) for the second consecutive contest and Mike Fisher (upper-body) is a game-time decision.

"We've got to outwork them, and we've got to have a bigger work ethic than them," defenseman Roman Josi said per NHL.com. "They're a fast team. They've got a lot of fast players, but we think we're a fast team too, so we've just got to come out with the same energy that we did in the first two games."

Nashville has out-shot Chicago 126-98 in the first trio of games.

The Blackhawks are playing the hot-hand in the blue paint as Joel Quenneville's group is going with rookie Scott Darling instead of incumbent netminder Corey Crawford.

Darling stopped all 42 shots he faced in relief of Crawford in Game 1 and was given the starting nod in Game 3 after Crawford allowed six goals in a Game 2 loss.

Darling turned aside 35 of the 37 shots he faced on Sunday and has allowed just two goals on 79 attempts in this series.

"Another solid game, [Darling] was patient in the net, was big, square, handled the puck well and the guys played well in front of him as well," Quenneville told NHL.com.

Nashville will counter with Pekka Rinne and he has yielded 10 tallies on 98 shots during the first three games.

The Predators hope to even things up while the Blackhawks seek a commanding 3-1 lead when the lights come up on Game 4 of the Stanley Cup playoffs live tonight at the United Center in Chicago.
