Tonight at 8 p.m. ET, the St. Louis Blues and Minnesota Wild take the ice at the Xcel Energy Center in Minnesota for Game 3 of their best-of-seven Western Conference Round 1 series as part of the 2015 Stanley Cup playoffs.

As the series shifts to a new venue, St. Louis will look to gain a win in enemy territory while Minnesota will look to take care of home ice after getting the split it needed through the first two games.

The Wild took Game 1 by a 4-2 score on Thursday while the Blues came roaring back with a 4-1 victory on Saturday.

The Blues won 24 games on the road this season and six of their last nine away games. This gives St. Louis some confidence heading into Game 3 at the Xcel Energy Center.

"You've got to feel confident going on the road, especially the way we played this year," Blues defenseman Alex Pietrangelo said via NHL.com. "I thought we played some real good hockey down the stretch, especially on the road. We played some smart hockey. We're going to need to continue to do that because that's not an easy rink to go in and play."

The Wild, meanwhile, struggled at home down the stretch and had more wins on the road (24) than in their own building (22). Minnesota isn't putting too much stock into anything that happened during the regular season.

"I don't think there is anything that I can pinpoint why we were better on the road; I'm not sure," Wild captain Zach Parise, who has two assists in the series, told NHL.com. "I'm not sure why the year before it was kind of the opposite. Regardless, it's a new season now, and we know there is going to be a lot of energy in here and we've responded well in the past and hopefully we can do that. But nothing is going to be handed to us, it's still going to be a tough game, but we like playing here and hopefully we get a little better luck than we did in the season."

Vladimir Tarasenko helped carry the Blues to victory in Game 1, notching a hat trick in the triumph to tie for the playoff lead with three goals on the postseason. Patrik Berglund also found the twine for St. Louis in the win while Alexander Steen picked up two assists and Kevin Shattenkirk picked up three helpers, which ties him for first in the playoffs with four.

Marco Scandella scored the lone goal for the Wild in the loss and Minnesota's five markers in the series have come off the stick of five different players.

Manning the crease for the Wild will be Devan Dubnyk, who has allowed five goals on 47 shots thus far in the playoffs.

The Blues counter with rookie Jake Allen in the blue paint and he has surrendered three goals in the series while turning aside 49 shots.

It's a pivotal Game 3 when the lights come up on the Blues and Wild live tonight from the Xcel Energy Center in Minnesota as part of the 2015 Stanley Cup playoffs.
