Los Angeles Angels outfielder Josh Hamilton could be the first man ever to be involved in two nasty divorces.

The Angels have not held back in voicing their displeasure over Hamilton's drug and alcohol relapse that he admitted in February.

The Dallas Morning News is reporting that the Angels aren't the only ones who have an issue with the 2010 American League Most Valuable Player.

Hamiton and his wife are in the process of getting a divorce, court documents filed earlier this year confirm, according to the Morning News. The couple has been married since 2004 and have four children ages 3 to 14.

The Morning News added that the couple agreed in March not to communicate as the case proceeds. They both filed a mutual injunction that stipulates dozens of ground rules.

"Court records say Josh Hamilton can't see the children without supervision," the Morning News reported. "He is also prohibited from going to the couple's properties in Westlake, Texas; Newport Coast, Calif.; and Valley Mills, Texas.

"...Hamilton outlined 34 requests in the petition. Among the requests: prohibit her from using the Maserati and 1972 Chevrolet Blazer in his possession; prohibit her from 'hiding' the children from him; prohibit her from making disparaging remarks against him or his family; prohibit someone who has an intimate relationship with her from staying in the same home as the children overnight."

Katie Hamilton submitted a general denial to Hamilton's petition.

The Los Angeles Times reported Friday that Hamilton put up his mansion in Newport, Calif., for sale at $16.5 million.

The Angels, who still owe Hamilton $83 million of the $125 million, five-year contract he signed in 2013, voiced displeasure when Major League Baseball announced no punishment forthcoming in connection with Hamilton's relapse.

Sports Illustrated cited a tweet from Fox Sports' Ken Rosenthal and reported that the Angels are trying to figure out what they want to do with their troubled star.

"Hamilton is currently rehabbing after undergoing shoulder surgery in spring training," SI.com reported. "He is expected to be able to return to the field in May, but Ken Rosenthal of FOX Sports reported Saturday that the Angels are exploring the possibility of buying out his contract or trading him. The Angels aren't close to a resolution, according to Rosenthal."
