Tonight at 7 p.m. ET, the Montreal Canadiens and Ottawa Senators skate against each other in Game 3 of their Eastern Conference Round 1 Stanley Cup playoff series live from the Canadian Tire Center in Ottawa.

Montreal is looking to take a commanding 3-0 series lead while Ottawa will hope that a shift back home will allow them to notch their first victory of the series.

It's been a very tightly contested series thus far as the Canadiens topped the Senators 4-3 in the opening game on Wednesday and then followed it up with a 3-2 overtime triumph in Game 2 on Friday.

Ottawa and Montreal traded goals in Game 2, but in the end it was Alex Galchenyuk's tally in overtime that gave the Canadiens a commanding 2-0 series lead.

Max Pacioretty, in his first game back from injury, scored a goal in regulation for Montreal while P.K. Subban also lit the lamp just one game after viciously slashing Senators rookie Mark Stone and receiving a game misconduct on Wednesday.

Clarke MacArthur scored the opening goal of the game for the Senators while Patrick Wiercioch scored in the third period to force overtime.

The Canadiens know that only half the job is done now.

"This team that we're playing is used to being the underdog and they're going to feel a lot more comfortable now with the expectations against them I guess," Pacorietty said via NHL.com. "They're going to go in their building and they know they can take two in their building. It's a tough place for us to play. I've always found it's very tough for our team to find success there so we have to try and build off last game and be even better."

The Senators are hoping that a return to home-ice will get them back in the win column.

"We've done this all year long," Senators captain told NHL.com. "We make it a little too hard on ourselves sometimes. That's the way it is. We're in the situation we're in. We haven't lost anything yet and they haven't won anything yet. All we can do is play the next game."

The Senators are making a change in net as Craig Anderson will make his series debut after the team dropped the first two games of the contest in front of Andrew Hammond. Hammond faced 42 shots in Game 2 and allowed four of them to beat him, including the game-winner in overtime.

The Canadiens counter with Vezina Trophy-favorite Carey Price between the pipes and he is coming off of a performance where he yielded three goals and turned aside 29 shots.

The Canadiens seek a commanding 3-0 series lead while the Senators try to get back in the hunt when the puck drops on Game 3 of their Stanley Cup playoffs series live tonight from the Canadian Tire Center in Ottawa.
