For some, DeVante Parker is at the top of the Miami Dolphins' draft board. The standout wide receiver finished his college career with 2,775 yards and 33 touchdowns, propelling him to the high-end of the 2015 NFL Draft.

Unfortunately for Miami, it will be a little too high.

According to the Miami Herald's Armando Salguero, Parker is projected to go before the Dolphins' No. 14 overall pick.

3 Options Not Named Todd Gurley for Miami Dolphins No. 14 Pick

"In talking to multiple NFL personnel department sources, the buttlescut I keep hearing is that Louisville wide receiver DeVante Parker is clearly a top 10 talent in this draft and will not be on the board when the Miami Dolphins pick at No. 14 in the first round," Salguera said. "I hear that St. Louis, drafting No. 10 and needing to add talent because, well, Kenny Britt ain't it, is a strong possibility."

"I hear Minnesota, whose quarterback [Teddy Bridgewater] is a former Parker teammate at Louisville where the two players had great chemistry, is also a strong possibility."

Should Salguero's assessment come to fruition, Parker would join Alabama's Amari Cooper and West Virginia's Kevin White in the top 10. It would be the first time three WRs were taken in the first 10 picks since 2005.

That year, Braylon Edwards (No. 3 to Cleveland), Troy Williamson (No. 7 to Minnesota) and Mike Williams (No. 10 to Detroit) saw their NFL dreams, no matter how brief, become a reality.

The question is: Where does that leave Miami?

In short, with the sexy pick becoming less of a reality, the Dolphins would benefit going with the smart one in the form of LSU's La'el Collins.
