There have been multiple reports that the WWE Hall of Famer has been having issues with the WWE and it appears that the problems between the two sides have escalated.

According to PWInsider, there are ongoing issues between Austin and the WWE and the most recent turn has something to do with merchandise.

Per the report, WWE officials sent a cease and desist letter to ProWrestlingTees.com after WrestleMania 31 weekend regarding the merchandise they sell for Austin in his official store on their website.

Pro Wrestling Tees quickly removed the Austin items and they are no longer on sale.

A fan that was looking for Austin's 3:16 Gimmick Street shirt on Twitter got a response from the "Texas Rattlesnake":

This isn't the first issue between the two sides that has come up recently.

The WWE expected Austin to make appearances on behalf of the organization during WrestleMania 31weekend in California and he no-showed the events. The WWE reportedly had an agenda for him and even sent someone to pick him up, but Austin never appeared.

The reason for this reportedly has to do with a falling out the WWE and Austin had regarding his podcast airing on the WWE Network.

While the specifics are unknown, there was some sort of issue between the two sides after Austin's interviews with McMahon and Triple H, and the WWE opted to use Chris Jericho's podcast earlier this month for an interview with John Cena instead of Austin.

Austin also revealed on his Steve Austin Show Podcast on Podcastone.com that he didn't like Cena's version of his Stone Cold Stunner, going as far as to say it was "gimmick infringement."

It's unknown if these issues will be resolved, but it seems as though the classic Austin-McMahon rivalry has spilled out of the squared circle.
